HUMANISM - The Root of Babel (2007)
"They built empires in greater or smaller scales; each of them are building something to make a name for themselves"
What is humanism?
Humanism simply means a culture that believes in human-based morality. It is defined as a system of thought that is based on the values, characteristics, and behavior that are believed to be best in human beings, rather than on any supernatural authority. The focus is on the concern with the needs, well-being, and interests of people above any other things or values. On the appearance, it may look or even sound biblical but on the hindsight, God has been invalidated and replaced by human as the core of its belief. It is a culture that believes in human superiority and attainment that they could accomplish whatever things that they could imagine. Human mind was the object of worship instead of God. In Romans 8:7 it says, our carnal mind is enmity against God, and it will never subject to God.
Transhumanism Salvation or Judgment Day?

Against the Grain: 'We'll be able to upload our brains to a computer'
by Nick Jackson, 22 November 2007
Anders Sandberg is James Martin Research Fellow at the Future of Humanity Institute, University of Oxford. Dr Sandberg believes that in the future we will be able to, and should, dramatically change what it means to be human.
Transhumanism – enhancing humans through new sciences and technologies – often looks a rather pie-in-the-sky, science-fiction idea. But we have good scientific reasons to think that in future we are going to change the human condition significantly.
It is becoming more and more realistic that we will extend our life span. I'm pretty optimistic that one day we will be able to upload our brains on to a computer, which will give us a kind of immortality. We can already simulate a brain bigger than an insect's.
A human brain is going to take a lot of computer power, but microscopy can actually scan brain slices quite well. We don't yet know how to reconstruct the function of neurons from the microscopy, but it seems that most people think it is feasible, although with microscopy the brain is pulverized.
[Australian artist Patricia Piccinini's concept of what human-animal hybrids might look like are provocative creatures which are part of a sculpture entitled The Young Family, produced to address the reality of such possible parahumans in a compassionate way. Transhumanists would call for the recognition of self-aware parahumans as persons]
According to Francis Fukuyama, professor of international political economy at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, author of Our Posthuman Future: Consequences of the Biotechnology Revolution, and a member of the President's Council on Bioethics said that "Transhumanism is the world's most dangerous idea", while one proponent, Ronald Bailey, counters that it is the “movement that epitomizes the most daring, courageous, imaginative, and idealistic aspirations of humanity”. Transhumanism is really the continuation of the classical ideas of humanism, but instead of improving the current human condition through democracy or tolerance, you actually improve the human condition itself. (For further understanding about Transhumanism there are numerous articles that you could find on the internet on this particular subject) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transhumanism
Humanism has reached its climax when men would engage in acts of creation like God. This remind us of the Eden's sin, where the serpent beguiled Eve to believe that she could be like God after she possess the knowledge of good and evil. The love of knowledge has become the object of desire for humanism ever since. This insinuates rebellion and led to God's eventual judgement and banishment from Eden. Ironically, Lucifer had suffered the similar kind of fate as Adam and Even that he wanted to be like the Most High. Consequently, he was driven out from the heavenly kingdom (Isaiah 14:14). Was it a coincidence? Absolutely not. The whole episode of Eden was a direct vengeance against God and it continues its way down to Babylon, and from Babylon it spreads to all human civilizations. The Tower of Babel was the symbol of rebellion it signifies the partnership of men and him.
The judgment of Babel was the first judgment on men after the great flood. It serves as an admonition and reminder to men that God will not tolerate any form of rebellion. However, did men get the message and stop rebelling against Him? History tells us that men would continue to rebel against Him ever since. They had purposed in their hearts to be like “gods” and be worshiped and exalted by their own kind.
History has a story to tell...............
According to historical finding and ancient religion, most pagan religions and idols worships were attributed to Nimrod and his mother Semiramis whom were the leaders of the “Babel Rebellion”. According to the study of Bryce Self, after establishing his kingdom in the Tigris/Euphrates region he consolidated his power by establishing a state religion. He constructed a religion that included deification and worship of the emperor (himself), worship of Satan and his demons, and star-worship (corrupted from a pure antediluvian astronomy). A key unifying factor in his religion was to be an astronomical / astrological observatory built upon the pinnacle of a tower at Babel. It has been suggested that Nimrod spent some time in Egypt before moving up to Mesopotamia and that while in Egypt he studied the Egyptian mystery religion perpetuated there from before the flood by the wife of Ham, whom tradition takes to be a descendant of Cain. (Pic above is Egyptian Madonna)
After their deaths, Nimrod and his wife Semiramis ("queen of heaven") were confirmed by their priests as gods and given homage as Marduk and Astarte. The name Marduk was not revealed to the masses but his attributes were set forth under pseudonyms of various gods constructed for the public interest. As a note on the Babylonian mystery religion, the original cult of the mother and child, Semiramis and Tammuz, became later Isis and Osiris, Venus and Adonis, the Madonna and child in various cultures down to this day.
This anti-God spirit is still very much pervasive in our culture today.
Civilizations
Historically, humanism was revived by the secular cultural and intellectual movement of the Renaissance that spread throughout Europe as a result of the rediscovery of the arts and philosophy of the ancient Greeks and Romans. In fact, the Greek philosophy had great influenced over the Western Civilization. Its foundation was laid by the two great ancient Greek philosophers namely Plato and Aristotle. Aristotle the student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great had much influence on him. He gave Alexander a thorough training in rhetoric and literature and stimulated his interest in science, medicine, and philosophy. Our modern science, medicine and technology were accredited to this self-attain philosophy.
Today, many of the ancient biblical events have been re-established despite of numerous time of interventions of God
as we see it throughout history. This is the time where independence and rejection of Him has culminated to the brim of the judgment cup (cup of wrath). The building of the European Parliament which is the exact copy of the Tower of Babel was completed in France in 1999 as a clear sign of rebellion. The European Union and the inference of the occurrence was so perceptible that the prophetic event of the resurrection of the Roman Empire has now come to
absolute fulfillment.
The prophetic time has now come to completion of its journey around the globe. We are being ushered back to the scene of the “Babel Rebellion”, that men would build empires in greater or smaller scales; each of them are building something to make a name for themselves (Genesis 11).
The judgment is already here and greater one is on its way......

TOWER OF BABYLON
Isaiah 66:1-2, So says Jehovah, Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, is the house that you build for Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says Jehovah. But to this one I will look, to the afflicted and contrite spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word.
Act 7:47-51, but Solomon built Him a house. But, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says, "Heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool. What house will you build Me, says the Lord, or what is the place of My rest? Has not My hand made all these things?" O stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so you do.
