Prophetic Word: The Set Time of Favor Has Come

by Faith Marie

Recently I have been hearing the words in my spirit: "for the set time to favor her has come." God sets the timing for favor to be released, according to His purposes for specific seasons. The body of Christ is being established now and positioned by God into a new sphere of supernatural favor to accomplish His plan and His will in the season ahead.

The enemy is counteracting with fierce warfare against the people of God and we can easily miss the movement that is breaking us out by becoming distracted by our personal warfare!

There are places God is about to take us and things He has ordained for us to do that only He can orchestrate. These are things that require supernatural intervention that we cannot do for ourselves. When the appointed time arrives, God's favor will suddenly open doors, phone calls will be received and divine appointments will occur in the spirit of serendipity, where events suddenly happen by chance to aid and benefit us for the road ahead.

God will bring us to the forefront and position us where He needs us to be, to release the influence assigned to us. We each have been given a voice of influence to affect the atmosphere around us and usher in God's kingdom's purposes. God uses prophetic voices to build the spiritual structures He needs for a particular season to hold the new dynamic of His will for that time. As He told Jeremiah:

"Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant" (Jer. 1:9-10, ESV).

Finances will come in on time to support the work and to get the job done. Things will happen spontaneously because God is on your side and is working to bring you into your place of influence assigned to you for 2022 and the years ahead. You have been faithful and obedient over the years, persevering through the trials and the waiting for your time; now God says the time of favor has come!

"You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come" (Ps. 102:13, NKJV).

The Hebrew word for Favor is chanon and means "to bestow favor; to bend in kindness to an inferior." Isn't this so wonderful that God would bend down to give us a kiss of favor? The word set time is the word moed and means "an appointment and a fixed time or season; a due season."

God does ordain set times of favor for His people and for individuals—their due season. Sometimes these times are appointments in His presence where He imparts what is needed for the new assignment. God will not ask you to do what He is not prepared to support and to ensure takes place. However, to occupy the new place prepared for you will require what may seem to be a risk but are just steps of faith, causing you to press through the new doors and occupy your new territory!

Favor to accomplish the will of God is completely orchestrated by Him. It is not anything that you can work up or strive to attain. The people who need to find you will find you. God's plan will search you out and establish you. When you honor God with your life and honor what He honors, the doors of favor will begin to swing wide open for you. When you keep God in first place, as your number one priority, He does the same for you! Doors will begin opening that no one can shut, and when He shut doors that need to be shut from the past, no one can open them again. We have stepped into a new day and the old doors are shut!

Isaiah 22:22 is the key of favor being offered to us in this year. It's the key promised to David, to Jesus and to the followers of Jesus. It is a key of favor that opens doors into kingdom realms and possibilities that only God can open.

David was very precious to God and a man God delighted in because of his obedience and his humility, and the Lord defended and protected David's destiny to rule as king. Joseph and Daniel and Esther were other saints who were beloved by God the Father. The Lord preserved each one of them for set times and assignments in key moments of history. Joseph was sent ahead and given great favor to preserve life, according to Genesis 45:5.

We're coming into a season of the resurrection glory of God. And this glory is the weight of His substance as God. Our internal capacity to contain God is increasing and making us ready to be thrust out. The resurrection anointing is now getting us ready to break out of the grave and break out of the old dead places.

How does this happen? God is our thrust! He is the fire and the power beneath our feet. When we are thrust out, there will be no turning back.

The word key in Isaiah 22:22 is from the root word pathach and means "to open wide and to break forth, to loosen and to let go free." God is about to let us go free to run the race He has ordained for our lives. This is the new dynamic we are entering into this year. The opening of doors; the impartation of keys. If God says the "set time has come"—get ready! Step into your place and take your position.

God is now planting seeds of peace and prosperity in a time where we are being called to finish the work to complete the building of His house. What will sabotage the favor of God in your life? The answer is when you try to do it yourself; when you attempt to control and push yourself forward.

God's presence carries His favor that will be going with us in the days ahead.

We have walked through two years, in 2020 and 2021, of praying, interceding, and decreeing fervently without seeing much fruit. We have now entered a type of "third-day resurrection glory" now breaking out! Who would have thought or predicted that God would answer the cry of the people of Canada and of other nations with a Freedom Convoy of magnificent and courageous truckers? We prayed for two years and God came through in the morning of the third year with a sudden that has caused the world to stop and take notice! Suddenly we have an army emerging that is comprised of a new breed of freedom fighters taking a stand for truth and justice.

This generation of saints living today is a forerunner party fashioned to track with Christ in the days moving forward. It is massively important to now stand corporately with shields locked as God rises in this hour to perfect all that concerns us and concerns His will being done in our lives. Isaiah 64:4 (NLT) is a word God is giving us for this season:

"For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like You, who works for those who wait for Him!"

A Seer Reveals How God Prepared Ukrainians for War

 by Anthony Hart - Charisma

Prophetic minister Michelle Seidler, the founder and head of Ancient Paths International, says the Holy Spirit gave her a prophetic word about Ukraine well before Russia invaded its neighbor. God told her that he would prepare Ukrainians to persevere and would use the conflict to bring the country into its true position in the Spirit as "a mother to the nations."

Amid the horrific surge of death and destruction in Ukraine—and "the trauma of it all"—the prophetic word that the Lord gave Seidler was centered on a simple yet profound message: "Set our eyes on Jesus," even with the temptation to be offended by God's seeming inaction to stop the war. Seidler has fully embraced Proverbs 3:5b: "Lean not on your own understanding."

As a well-respected seer who has been ministering regularly in Ukraine for 10 years, Seidler explains in a YouTube video on March 6: "For years, I have traveled back and forth several times a year, traveling all over Ukraine. God was clear to me to teach them to see Jesus. Teach them to see Jesus. That's what the Holy Spirit would say to me."

She adds, "In the last year, in traveling in Ukraine, I had one message I couldn't get away from, everywhere I went, and that was Matthew 24."

In brief, Matthew 24 depicts when Jesus shows up as the prophet—what Seidler describes as "the manifestation of the prophet"—and prophesies destruction. The Holy Spirit was quick to impress upon Seidler, according to her, "Don't be deceived. Don't be offended."

She says too many Christians can be easily offended by the ways of Jesus and when the Lord sends prophetic words that destruction is coming in order to use extreme pressure to awaken people to who they really are in Christ.

"In our culture, in the church today, if a prophet came in and said that [what Jesus prophesied], we'd say 'false prophet,'" she goes on to explain in her March 6 video. There is a "mindset" among Christians, she says, that conveys "Jesus only wants to make us feel good." But Matthew 24 tells a different story.

"Don't be offended by the nature of Jesus," says Seidler. "When He does this, it's because He is perfect love, and His ways are above our ways. We don't understand His ways."

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matt. 24:6-13, NIV).

Through the conflict, Seidler prophesies, "Ukraine is arising to who she is. She is a mother to the nations. She is maturing. She is growing. She is coming forth to who she is by passing through [the war]."

The spiritual strength that she believes the Lord has increased in many Christians who live in Ukraine has created something special, which will affect the outcome of the war and release a power that will ultimately bring glory to God.

"I see the beautiful spirit and resilience of the people [in Ukraine] to trust Jesus," Seidler says. "I talk to people in Ukraine every day." Her message to Ukrainians is laced with love: "You are such an inspiration for people around the world."

The preparation that God did in Ukraine astonishes Seidler. "I can see the wisdom of God preparing people for what was coming. I look at it today and go, 'Wow, you're so kind to prepare.'" She adds, "I thank You, Holy Spirit, that You continue to strengthen the people of Ukraine by Your power."

She urges people to set their minds on Jesus and, no matter what the outward circumstances appear to be with the destruction in Ukraine, she says it's "safe to trust Jesus" when you don't understand. "We want to be intentional about where we put our trust," she emphasized in her March 6 broadcast.

Ukrainians asked her in September 2021 while she was in Ukraine, "Is the war now?"

They wanted her prophetic insight amid rising tensions and issues that pointed to a Russian invasion last year.

After seeking revelation from the Lord, she told them, "No, it's coming soon." (She was right at the time.)

She says she didn't know the exact time of the invasion, but as a seer, she saw it in the Spirit before it happened—and she is on record saying it publicly in Ukraine.

In the shadow of the Russia-Ukraine war, she also saw a prophetic vision about America.

Although the conflict has exploded in Ukraine, she indicated that a serious form of adversity will hit the U.S. at some point and, when it happens, "We need not be offended by Jesus." She expects "a great falling away" because "people will not recognize Jesus. They don't understand what He's after. They don't recognize His heart."

"Everything that happens is to bring us into who we really are," she adds, pointing to the fact that God has a bigger purpose.

Crisis in pastoral leadership: Are the apostolic and prophetic offices being restored? (Part 2)

By Brandon Showalter, Christian Post Reporter

Amid seemingly unending church and ministry leadership scandals and the exposure of unhealthy structures and institutions that enabled them, are long-lost offices of the Church being recovered?

The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 2:20 that the Church, the household of God, is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone.”

In Ephesians 4:11-12, Paul continues that the Lord gave fivefold offices for the edification of the Church, specifically “apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Yet many Christians today have no theological or experiential grid for the first two offices listed, perhaps because the canon of Scripture is closed and the apostles who were alive during Jesus' time are no longer walking the Earth. This view, which is called cessationism, holds that after the death of the last apostle, spiritual gifts like prophecy and the office of a prophet are no longer operating. In practice, however, some churches and denominations adhere to degrees of this view, allowing for certain expressions of the gifts to operate in the church. Others have admitted to believing in the continuation of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirt but being, for all intents and purposes, "functional" cessationists.

With such a theological paradigm, the absence of the offices of prophet and apostle in the contemporary church has yielded an often top-heavy congregational structure that is led by a pastor. Teachers teach the Bible in Sunday school. When many think of the office of evangelist, guest preachers and the-late Billy Graham and his stadium crusades come to mind.

To dive more deeply into these ecclesiological issues, The Christian Post spoke with Ron Myer and Larry Kreider, two leaders with DOVE International — an interdenominational global family of churches and ministries on six continents. CP also spoke with Pastor Derwin Gray of Transformation Church, a nondenominational Evangelical congregation in Indian Land, South Carolina.

The interviews explore what has gone right and what has gone wrong in recent years, and where they see God taking the Church at-large in the coming decade.

Substantial paradigm shifts are occurring for many Christians, they say, and sincere believers would be wise to heed what the Holy Spirit is doing, even if it seems unfamiliar.

How have the fivefold offices gotten lost and how are they being reclaimed?

According to Kreider, a major issue afflicting the Church is what he calls “clergy-laity mentality.” He describes it as a pervasive mindset where the paid clergy leads the church and they are called “pastors.” They do most of the ministry work and laypeople serve the ministry of that pastor.

But whatever terms are used, DOVE International contends that leaders in the local church are more like elders or overseers.

"We do believe that all five of these gifts are needed. And on a broad-based level, you need the apostles and prophets working together, hearing from God together. To use military terminology: apostles [are] the generals. The prophets being the seers, they’re the ones getting the intel [from God],” Kreider asserted.

For a local church, there needs to be impartation from all those gifts, equipping from all those offices.

Yet, this is strange doctrinal territory for many people, as it was for Myer.

“In my upbringing, there was nothing ever spoken about apostles and prophets. There was no grid for it,” Myer explained. But that all changed as he became “filled with the [Holy] Spirit and into an understanding that Ephesians 4 is here to equip the saints for ministry and that the equipping of the saints is a primary role of the Church."

"To equip people to minister to those who are not part of the Church, not just to minister to each other," he detailed.

The apostles are the builders, the church-planters, those who are trainers and equippers.

And the prophetic is to come alongside them to help guide and speak to that — what is the Lord saying right now in the present, Myer said. He added that all five offices are needed to work together so that the Church can hear the full counsel of God.

“I think somewhere along the line we slipped into [the church mode] where it’s easy to just have a pastor to lead the church. So we’ll just call him a pastor," Myer said. "And in some cases, you have evangelists — that’s their primary gift — but they only knew pastors, so they put the term pastor on them. But they’re frustrated because they're not functioning as a pastor because that is not their primary gifting. People put that label on them, and then they’re trying to be somebody that they’re not versus truly functioning in who they truly are."

Myer believes that God has given a "greater definition" that brings "greater freedom."

"With greater freedom then comes greater function," he contends. "With greater function comes the ability to be who God really created them to be. We’re working to usher in and continue to expand the Kingdom of God, His way of doing things, as we pray, 'Father, let Your Kingdom come, may your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.'”

If the fivefold gifts can work together to see each and every believer functioning and bringing the Kingdom into their workplace, in the marketplace, into their school, a greater expression of Jesus is manifested in society, he maintained.

What are small-a apostles?

Kreider believes that an apostolically inclined small-a apostle is motivated by and is thinking on a macro, big-picture level, and wants to see the Kingdom of God extend across their city, state, region, nation and world. As with any other spiritual gift and vocations, this gifting is to be called out and affirmed by others in the Body of Christ.

To function in these gifts, one needs to see the giftings in others, Myer added. It’s not just someone who prophesies or carries a prophetic gift, but someone who trains up and pours into others so they can mature spiritually.

For those who are hesitant to embrace this thinking because they have concerns about what has been referred to as the New Apostolic Reformation or the abuse or misuse of spiritual gifts, the DOVE leaders urge Christians to revisit the Word. The New Apostolic Reformation is a phrase coined by C. Peter Wagner to describe a movement within Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity reclaiming the apostolic and prophetic offices.

“I think what has happened is that when the church is run by pastors and administrators, it has played right into the clergy-laity mentality that has ruined the Church," Kreider said. "When you read the book of Acts and the Epistles, you see God using common, ordinary people. You see them being resourced through apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers."

The title “pastor” is used for ministry and church leaders today, even those in pastoral roles, but are not particularly pastoral-gifted people, he added.

“If they lead a megachurch, they are probably apostolic. But since we don’t have room for this language, I think it holds us back from expressing the heart of Christ to people and to be trained to full maturity and fulfill the call of God that is on their lives,” Kreider said.

In fact, the first time he went to a Pentecostal gathering, he sat in the back row so he could leave early “in case it got too crazy.”

Myer added: “For those who have had negative experiences, and there are certainly plenty of them out there, my response is: I’m sorry you had a negative experience. There’s no excuse for it."

For those who get hung up on titles, DOVE International shies away from them and leans more toward adjectives.

“I’m not ‘apostle Ron,’ but I do apostolic ministry,” Myer said, defining it as “being a spiritual father to a number of people who I pour my life into ... with one goal, to see them succeed and be all that God made them to be.”

These gifts need to be in operation until the return of Jesus, he maintains, to bring the Church to full maturity and bring as many people into God’s Kingdom as possible.

The clergy-laity mindset trap

Although careful not to blame any particular person or group for the creep of the clergy-laity mentality, Kreider and Myer said that those in clerical roles think they are the paid professionals who need to do all the ministry and that the laity is not equipped to do it.

From the laity side, they argue that the thought process is one that always defers to clergy who are paid to do it, and therefore, they do not have to minister.

“If COVID has done anything, it has helped much of the Body of Christ realize that when two or three gather in His name, He is in the midst of us. And we believe there is a place for larger gatherings, but the focus is on the two or three,” Kreider said.

“We have great hope for the Body of Christ. It has been a mess, we agree with that. We’ve all been a mess. But He is leading us by His Spirit, and we’re excited about the future of the Body and the future of the Kingdom.”

While not all churches are top-heavy or afflicted by this clergy-laity mentality, Myer believes that amid all of the changes that the pandemic brought, the circumstances have come to model what the fivefold ministry should look like and what true apostles really are.

“There are some places in the world that you can’t even use that term [apostle] because of the abuse and control in the past versus a spiritual father that wants to see those around him succeed. That has a heart and a passion to plant, but then to empower and release those around him,” Myer said.

“I think we have a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate what are the gifts of the Spirit and they are to bring about change, to help people, to see them transformed, to help them with problems and to demonstrate the love of Christ.”

In May 2020, Myer said he sensed the Lord tell him that “in times of uncertainty, you’d better be sure what you’re certain about.”

“Anytime we’re in chaos, that which we really believe will be challenged. And it shouldn’t be changed, because if it’s built on God’s Word, my circumstances don’t change what I believe. I continue to believe until my circumstances change,” he said.

“I think the opportunity of the fivefold ministry is ... that even when there’s chaos around us, even when there’s a storm around us, there can still be peace in the midst of that. We can still walk in confidence; we can still walk in security.”

Kreider emphasized that American Christians tend to think about the United States, but the truth is that the Church is part of a global Kingdom.

“There’s nothing new under the sun," he said. "We’re believing God for good things in our nation, obviously, but we know there’s a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, and that’s what we stand in."

An apostolic, prophetic church

For Derwin Gray, lead pastor of the multicultural Transformation Church in Indian Land, South Carolina, how the church understands and defines itself matters.

“When we talk about the ecclesia, when we talk about the Church, [its] blood-bought people who have been redeemed by King Jesus through His epic accomplishments, His sinless life, His atoning sacrificial death, His resurrection and through the sealing of the Spirit. We are this family,” Gray told CP.

The way Gray interprets his own church as apostolic is that they, as a group of followers of Jesus, are built on the apostles' message: Christ crucified and risen from the dead. He describes his congregation as rooted in the New Testament and the early church councils and the foundation of the apostles is what drives them.

A genuinely apostolic church is about the establishment of God’s rule and reign on Earth, and that those who trust in Jesus are part of His new creation, he said.

Gray added that a truly apostolic leader is a messenger planting such churches rooted in the historic realities of the Church.

To be prophetic, then, means: “Thus saith the Lord.”

“With the canon of Scripture, thus saith the Lord, is the text, the Scripture, primarily the redeeming work of Jesus through the Spirit to the glory of the Father,” the pastor said.

The gift of prophecy, as explained in 1 Corinthians, is for the purpose of edification, encouragement and speaking a timely word to people. It's to be twofold, he said, both to be “here’s what God says” and those gifted with the gift of prophecy who are used by God to edify and exhort the Church.

Both leaders who inhabit an office and laypersons who have the giftings can flow in the prophetic in this way, Gray said.

“We don’t view prophecy as ‘Hey, in three days this is going to happen.’ We view it as God spoke it, here’s the Word, and then the gift of prophecy in encouragement and edification.”

Where the Church is going in the coming years

Gray said there needs to be "local bodies of churches of all shapes and sizes."

“My main thing is that there is qualified leadership with integrity and that people are being equipped for the work of ministry," Gray explained. "That may be a house church or a big church, a small church. I’m not concerned about the form. I’m more concerned about the function. And every believer is a royal priest. Every believer has been enlisted in Jesus’ ministry and mission, and so that’s what we need to do.”

“This is not a job for me, this is a calling,” he said of his own role, “and our staff is called to serve our Body.”

According to the former NFL player-turned-pastor, being an apostolic church doesn't mean that "everyone on our staff is more spiritually mature than someone who works at Bank of America."

"Every believer is supposed to be equipped to be a minister and missionary in how you go about that in various forms, just go about it," he assured. "If it’s a house church, go about it. If it’s a megachurch, go about it.”

This will, however, require a paradigm shift for many American Christians, as many have accepted, perhaps unwittingly, varying degrees of what some call “consumerist Christianity.”

Gray attributes this to unwise pastors who teach an imbalanced theology where “Jesus basically functions as the dream-giver,” and believers are asked to participate in His Kingdom so that they can reach their potential.

The Gospel, by contrast, holds that Jesus is the King who invites people into His Kingdom by grace through faith, and the Holy Spirit equips in order to join in the call to reconcile everything in Christ, he said, referencing Ephesians 1:10.

“We’ve got to move from consumerism to participation," Gray stressed. "But pastors and leaders have to teach that, and a lot of times they are afraid to because America is a consumptive society and the great majority of the Church is also a consumptive society."

While churches of all shapes and sizes are everywhere, the Church-at-large in America is sick, he lamented.

“And I love [Jesus] too much to water down a message to draw consumers. God is calling people to participate in His Kingdom and it is by grace through faith. Jesus is Savior and Lord who wants to do His life in us and through us. And here’s what’s beautiful: When we get that, it’s so much better than consumerism,” the 50 year old added.

“And consumerism is like going into the candy store and getting sugar high and being sick for the rest of the week.”

What has contributed to this, he added, is the seeker-sensitive model that starts with the homogenous unit principle. The principle says if you cater to people who look and think alike and share a socio-economic status and ethnicity, you can grow a church faster. Thus, sermons are crafted for them.

“The problem is that the Bible never says that.  The church is for Jesus,” he said.

“When Jesus is exalted,” he continued, quoting John 12:32, “it says He will draw all men unto Himself."

Gray believes that many pastors have been baptized into the homogenous unit principle. Many have learned that people really like the rousing, inspiring content, so they forsake the teaching of doctrine and theology and avoid controversial topics.

What that ultimately yields is a “baptized Ted Talk and sprinkle of pixie dust of Jesus sprinkled on top of it,” he quipped. Yet because that has broad appeal, the model makes money, creating the incentive for it to keep going.

There has to be a reformation among pastors where it is asked: “What is the King Jesus Gospel,” he continued.

“I firmly believe that it is expressed in Galatians 2:20 very beautifully. That I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. Though I live in this body by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. So Christ, God’s chosen One, God’s Elect, wants to live in us and through us to reproduce His life, and it’s by grace through faith."

Gray and his wife were under the conviction that the early Church was a multiethnic group of believers in Jesus that had unity through the blood of Jesus, of Jews and Gentiles. This is rooted in God’s promise to Abraham that he would be given a multiethnic family. Jesus, being the seed of Abraham, through his redemptive work not only forgives sins but creates a family of brothers and sisters of many colors.

The good news of the Gospel, which centers on the work of Christ on the cross, is that God is getting His family back. And as the family learns to love each other, they image forth the glory of God, and as an invitation into this family as well.

Yet, as children of the European Enlightenment, American Christians like to break everything down to pieces and parts, Gray said.

“And the reality is, the Hebraic understanding of our faith is the Hebrew Shema,” Gray said, which is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

'Underneath those sandcastles were idols'

Gray warned that there is "no domain in which the love of God in Christ does not influence and flex its muscle."

“And what has happened is that there are a lot of people who were involved in movements where they’ve seen incredible hypocrisy, where they’ve seen core leadership get up and speak an incredible sermon, thousands of people come to faith, but yet the pastors aren’t living the message," he continued.

"And I think for a lot of them, they were baptized into a thin shallow Gospel, and so they’re tired.”

This often sets in motion a process of deconstruction where they become progressive Left, he explained.

“When you deconstruct Jesus Christ, you’re no longer a Christian,” Gray emphasized.

“As a pastor-theologian, I think the Church needs to be more theological one, not less. I think the Church needs to be more Christological, not less. I think the Church needs to be more Gospel-centered, not less. I think we need to view the Church as an equipping institution.”

Speaking specifically to the American Church, Gray believes that many were like children on a beach building sandcastles.

“But we didn’t know that the tide was rising and it’s going to wash all that away. COVID-19 has been a rising tide that has washed those sandcastles away. And underneath those sandcastles were idols,” he offered.

He believes the Holy Spirit is challenging the Church, asking the Church if she is ready to do away with those idols, and allow Him to knock them down.

“Are you ready to allow me to tip over political nationalism idol, tip over the greed idol, the pride idol, are you ready to allow me to tip over the pornography idol, and so many more?” he asked.

“And so if we’re in a posture where God is saying, ‘Listen, it’s time for you to rediscover who I am and never forget that individual salvation only exists so God can have a Church, a family. And this family, when Jesus went to the Cross, sin died in His body, but in the resurrection, all of us went to live in His body."

“Thus, treat each other as such.”

Prophetic Alert: Spiritual Warfare Intensifying in America in This Hour

JEREMIAH JOHNSON

On July 1, 2017, I had and released a prophetic dream where I saw a gigantic messenger of Satan coming into the United States from the East Coast. I called out to it from the walls of a large fortified city and said, "I am a watchman over this land and I command you to tell me by what authority do you enter this nation?" It said, "I come here by the permission of the church, who has granted me access to come plunder and devour right in the midst of them."

The principality had the wings of an angel but the tail of a dragon, and it looked hideous There was great darkness upon it, yet it had the outward appearance of unusual light. In its hands, it carried a large black book with the words written on it, "The gospel of accommodation."

The Spirit began to show me massive deception is sweeping the church, and it is fast asleep. There is a very real war in the spirit realm over the true gospel, the gospel of self-denial and this false gospel, the gospel of accommodation, which is seeking to overtake the American Church. The gospel of accommodation encourages American Christians to fit Jesus into their life rather than making Him their life. This false gospel requires no sacrifice, no commitment and no death to self. It is dangerous, deceptive and we are going to witness God beginning to highlight preachers and churches who preach this false gospel of accommodation.

The Messenger of Satan (Gulf of Mexico)

Again on Sept 1, 2017 (exactly two months from the last dream), I had another prophetic dream where I saw this same messenger of Satan appear in the Gulf of Mexico. Instead of carrying a book, he was now carrying a large boat paddle and began to stir the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and his paddle reached as far as the Caribbean. I began to hear the earth literally groan. The water was crying out. That's the only way I know how to explain it. As this principality began to stir the waters, several demonic spirits manifested and revealed themselves to me. They specifically were hatred, fear, violence and depression.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Jeremiah, you must know that the spiritual storms that are manifesting in the earth are far greater than any physical storm that has touched the earth. Physical storms are limited to a region of people. These spiritual storms that are coming will have the power to affect every area of culture. The physical hurricanes that have come and coming are devastating, but the spiritual ones are greater. The physical hurricanes that will manifest in this season will only further serve to reveal and open up the eyes and ears of the church to the spiritual storms of hatred, fear, violence and depression that are upon them."

The Paul Revere Anointing

As the Spirit spoke this to me and I watched this messenger of Satan stir the waters in the Gulf of Mexico and even the Caribbean, as these demonic spirits manifested into spiritual storms, I suddenly found myself in the state of Texas. There was an army of horse-riders waiting for me and prepared to run. I relayed to them what I had seen, not only on July 1, but on Sept. 1 as well. I shouted, "The anointing of Paul Revere is upon us! Now is the time to warn the American church of the coming spiritual storms. We must warn them of the false gospel of accommodation. Watch as God uses the physical storms to highlight those who are preaching this false gospel. We must warn the church of the hatred, fear, violence and depression that will try to overtake them. If they give in, they will look no different than the world. Days are coming where parts of the church will become so blended with the world that you will have a hard time discerning the difference between the two."

As I and the army of horse-riders rode with the anointing of Paul Revere to American churches, we visited three specific types churches. (This was almost identical to a dream I had in 2015, but some details God gave me were different.)

The Sleeping Church

The first type of church we visited had "sleeping church" engraved on its doors. As we opened the doors to these churches, every one of them was in the middle of a service. We would hurry in to relay the message of what we had just seen and heard, only to be shocked to see everyone in attendance, including the leadership, sucking on pacifiers. While this type of church could hear our words, they had no ability to respond. We began to cry out and say, "Why are you silent, church, why are you silent? Though you are awake, you are sleeping!"

In the dream, the Holy Spirit immediately spoke to me Ephesians 4:14 (NIV): "Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming."

The Hyper-Grace Church

The second type of church we visited met in various types of buildings and was very postmodern. We were delighted because many of them seemed to be younger in age (18-35). As we warned them of the coming spiritual storms, they laughed at us.

God said, "These are the products of the works-based gospel movement of the '80s and '90s. These are they who have rebelled in the name of grace, but not in the name of My Son." As the Spirit spoke this to us, there began to be mass commotion among them. He said,

"These types of churches are blinding the generations to the truth in the name of grace. They call themselves Joel's army because they believe they will usher in the last day's grace movement in the earth, but know that they are like the locust, seeking to devour and ravage the vineyards of young generations. They distort the truth and preach rebellion and tolerance in the name of grace. They shall question if hell exists. They will believe that many paths lead to Me."

After visiting these two types of churches, the horse-riders were in great distress. I cried out to the Spirit and said, "Take me to Your church." I immediately rode up on a church building that had "Surrendered Church" on its doors.

The Surrendered Church

We quickly walked in and sat down. I immediately noticed that in the back of this church was a gaping hole. It was as if a blast had gone off and almost entirely knocked out the back walls of the surrendered church. As we visited surrendered churches all over America, we found the same thing. I sat in the back and asked the Father what had happened. He said, "My church was at first deceived by the false gospel of accommodation. They allowed hatred, fear, depression and violence to overtake them. The hyper-grace church you just saw stormed out of the back of My church and left because of the preaching of holiness and the fear of the Lord, but now My church has been awakened, and it shall be repaired."

I got up out of my seat and watched as many people were working on repairing the gaping hole in the back of the church. As I watched, I noticed something interesting: The workers were not just any workers. They were true apostles and prophets restoring the foundation of the church, and many of them were teaching other young people how to properly lay the foundation. God said, "I am raising up a remnant in the American church that will be sound in doctrine, they will embrace the gospel of self-denial, and they will not walk in fear, anger, violence and depression."

Many intercessors were in great travail repenting over the sins of the church, but having a great sense of hope as they cried out and thanked the Father for awakening the church from deception.

Then I woke up.

God Is Raising Up End-Times Prophetic Messengers

Jeremiah Johnson

God is raising up end time prophetic messengers who will proclaim Jesus Christ and all of His glory to the ends of the earth. Even now, these lovesick forerunners are preparing the bride to meet their bridegroom King. The Word of God burns inside of them like fire in their bones that they cannot contain. They are daily experiencing intimate encounters with the Son of God as they sit with Him and learn how to meditate upon His Word day and night.

These sons and daughters will help usher in revival to the church, centered upon the knowledge of God and encountering the person of Jesus. This company of burning and shining lamps will devour the Word of God. They will say "yes" to fresh encounters on the road to Emmaus where the unveiling of Christ will be made known to them through the Law, the Psalms, the Prophets and the New Testament. As these prophetic messengers learn to walk the road to Emmaus, they will continually invite others to join them on this incredible pursuit for the truth that can only be found in God's Word.

Is your heart burning within you to personally encounter the glorious person of Jesus Christ and make Him known to the world around you? Revelation 19:10b says, "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." In other words, when the spirit of prophecy begins to move among a fellowship of believers, they will begin to declare with a passionate and burning heart cry who Jesus Christ really is to a generation.

A Revival of the Word of God

Some of our churches today have become full of people who are spiritually starving, while stuffed with every physical comfort and pleasure. We have in many ways successfully birthed a churchgoing generation addicted to video games, movies and entertainment, but has no real appetite for the Word of God. Jeremiah cried out to his generation and said, "Indeed, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it" (Jer. 6:10).

In the midst of this crisis where the Bible has become a reproach to many Christians and they no longer take delight in it, God is raising up a generation of plumb line prophets who are going to help the body of Christ rediscover hearing, delighting in, trembling before and obeying the Word of God. A bored generation of churchgoers who are desperately searching for ways to get through their quiet times with God are going to encounter prophetic messengers who burn with the fire of God's Word in their bellies.

I see a hungry and growing remnant of saints and church leaders who will absolutely love the Word of God and build their lives and ministries upon it. Plumb line prophets are emerging who will be used mightily in a spirit of wisdom and revelation to enlighten the eyes of the church to the power found in the Bible. There is a man who lives between the lines of Scripture; His name is Jesus. Many Christians say, "I know that verse," but my question is, "Does that verse know you?"

Overemphasis on Personal Prophecy

I'm deeply concerned that in some parts of the contemporary prophetic movement, there is an overemphasis on the giving out of personal prophecy at the expense of the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. I have had multiple pastors and saints at different conferences and churches throughout the world tell me, "Put down your Bible and prophesy to us."

If we drift from the foundation of the Word of God in the contemporary prophetic movement, we will create a generation of prophetic people who are hungry to be stimulated with words of blessing but do not want to get impregnated with the truth of God's Word. Many will hunger for personal prophecy but reject the foundation and place of encounter in the Bible. We must have prophets and prophetic people who want more than to be tickled with promises of destiny and wealth. We must be provoked into holy and righteous living through biblical teaching and preaching.

I see God raising up plumb line prophets in the earth who are going to teach and encourage a generation to primarily give themselves to the study of the revealed will of God found in Scripture and less time chasing after the hidden will of God often times revealed in experiences. We desperately need to see the Word of God handled accurately and with integrity in the contemporary prophetic movement.

PROPHETIC DREAM: The Fight For Life And The Nineveh Warning

By Jeremiah Johnson

In the time of its temporal prosperity Nineveh was a center of crime and wickedness. ... To him came the word of the Lord, "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before Me." Jonah 1:1,2

OPINION (Jeremiah Johnson) – On January 28, 2019, I had a prophetic dream where I was taken up to an elevated position over the United States and saw the word, “Nineveh” written over the landscape of the nation. I then was immediately taken into a large courtroom that was filled with all sorts of angelic beings. Many of them had beautifully colored wings while others had the features of humans, only taller in appearance. A gavel was suddenly slammed down in the courtroom and our attention was shifted to the case at hand.

The United States and Nineveh – A man in a suit quickly walked in carrying a briefcase that had, “The antichrist spirit” engraved on it. He approached the Judge and on the paper, he handed to him was clearly written, “ABORTION”. It seemed as if the angelic beings in the courtroom began to be filled with wonder and curiosity. It seemed that they were waiting for the Judge to make a ruling on the case so that they knew their assignments.

The Judge began to speak out loud in the dream and this is what He said, “The destiny of the United States in hanging in the balance as in the days of Nineveh. I once pronounced judgment on Nineveh and so I now pronounce judgment on the United States of America because they have tolerated the murder of My innocent ones for too long. However, I am sending my prophets in the likeness of Jonah from within and without. Yes, I am sending Jonah’s from foreign nations that will confront the antichrist spirit in the United States. Yes, I am also releasing My Jonah’s from within the United States who will contend against the antichrist spirit. Did Nineveh not repent from her wickedness and My hand of judgment relent? Can the United States not repent from her wickedness and My hand of judgment relent concerning this issue of abortion? You must understand that there are many watchmen in the United States that I have called to take a stand for LIFE and they have run from it just like Jonah. For this time and in these days, I shall call upon them once more!”

Lou Engle and the Grey/White Hairs – Immediately the dream shifted to a morgue where I was taken inside of a room and waited for a body in a bag to come out. The body was wheeled out before me on a bed and the bag was unzipped. Underneath was the body of Lou Engle. He had a very long white beard and had the appearance of a young physically fit man. I wept in the dream over Lou and shouted, “Lou, we need you! The womb of this nation needs you! The intercessors and the prophets need you! Judgment has been decreed upon the land as in the days of Nineveh, but the word of the Lord is that the judgment can be overturned! We must cry out for repentance and mercy in these days!”

Suddenly, one of the angelic beings who were in the courtroom earlier appeared with a gigantic golden key. The angel drove the key directly inside of Lou’s heart and a bolt of lightning hit the room. Lou jumped off the table with a staff in his hands. He looked at me in the dream and said, “Jeremiah, I once as a young man called the Nazarites forth in this nation, but now as an older man I will call forth the grandparents in this nation to fight for LIFE!”( I felt instantly in the dream that there was a direct connection in the spirit realm to grandparents in the United States championing this issue of abortion in their last days. They in their 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s are carrying specific authority to do so.) Lou continued and said, “I once called upon the long hairs (Nazarites), but now I will call upon the white and grey hairs.” (Grandparents/Older Generations)

The Fight for Life in the Black Community –  The dream shifted yet again as I found myself in a sea of people as far as my eyes could see in Washington D.C. Millions of Christians had gathered on the Mall in D.C. to fight for life. Lou took the stage with Will and Dehavilland Ford (African-American leaders) and they made a decree to everyone present in the nation. Will Ford declared, “Beyond political parties and racial affiliations, we will stand together for LIFE in these days.” I heard God immediately say to me in the dream, “The issue of abortion will divide the African-American race in the days ahead. Some will refuse to hear what I am saying, while others will be given a justice mandate like never before.”

One last time, the dream shifted to a newspaper article highlighting an African American woman who was raised up in politics in the years ahead that would force the black community to choose between life in the womb or political party affiliation and race. I heard God say, “You have been warned America. What will you do with the judgment of Nineveh upon your nation? Will you fight for life and see mercy fall upon you or will you remain silent and watch as great destruction and economic collapse fall upon your land?” Then I woke up.
